Essential Mathematics for the WA Curriculum includes an online version of the student book that delivers a host of interactive features to enhance the teaching and learning experience. The Interactive Textbook is available as a calendar-year subscription. Your subscription term is defined as follows: if activation occurs between January and July of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December this year. If activation occurs between August and December of this year, subscription concludes on 31 December the following year. Digital resources are expressly available for personal use only.

Features

• A mathematical modelling activity in every chapter provides students with opportunities to understand how the modelling process works and can be applied to solve problems.
• A stronger emphasis is placed on financial mathematics, in line with the new WA Curriculum.
• In each year level, selected content is labelled Consolidating (for content in the previous level); Optional for Years 9 & 10 (leading to senior mathematics studies); and Extending (for content that goes beyond the core and Optional content) providing the flexibility to meet the needs of all students.
• Targeted skillsheets covering a single skill or small set of skills linked to the worked examples are available for download.
