You can use this book in the lead up to the Anzac Centenary on the 25th April 2015, or in the years beyond the Centenary to teach the Anzac story and keep it alive.

About this Booklet

April 25, 2015 is a very special day for Australians for it marks the centenary of the first ANZAC Day in 1915. The day marks the anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War. It commemorates the occasion when forces landed at Gallipoli to start a campaign that dragged on for eight months and was marked by great loss of life for little strategic gain. This booklet examines some of the important aspects of this very important day in our history - a day that is becoming more important as time goes on.
