Teaching Critical Reading is linked to the v8.1 Australian curriculum and is based around 5 different text types: biographies, narratives, Greek myths, news reports and opinion pieces.
Students will learn to differentiate between these text types and use different language devices to achieve different purposes and target specific audiences.
