This text was designed to cover those sections of the 4 Unit syllabus in Mathematics for the HSC, which are not included in the 3 Unit syllabus. It is intended to be used in conjunction with Coroneos, 3 Unit Year 11 and 3 Unit Year 12.
The exercises in each set have been carefully graded to enable the student to gain confidence with easier examples before progressing to more testing ones.
One way to use the text is to have the student study each chapter and its worked examples and tackle only the unmarked questions at the first reading. The supplementary questions could then be used for revision purposes while the harder questions are intended for the really able student.
