This book aims to further develop the attitudes, understandings and skills students have acquired in working with the measurement strand in previous years.
Specific hands-on tasks involve calculations using millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres, as well as diameters and circumferences of circles. Students will also investigate areas of surfaces and tessellations, as well as mass (including suspension and projections) and volume of solids. In addition they will investigate time and how it relates to the calendar, 12 and 24 hour clocks and timetables.
