Nelson Phonics-in-a-Box 2 consolidates the concepts from Box 1 with an in-depth focus on consonant sounds, beginning with the common double consonant sounds ff, ll, ss and zz, continuing through to consonant digraphs and consonant blends. Box 2 also explores common onset and rime word combinations.

The box includes a Teacher’s Resource Book, 25 consonant flashcards, 24 one-word readers and 30 decodable story books. Classroom 4-packs and 6-packs add extra copies of the story books.
