Book 1

Book 1 of Senior Forensic Chemistry requires no previous knowledge of forensic chemistry. Students will discover that forensic science is the application of scientific method to the law. Forensic scientists examine and analyse items and materials gathered from a crime scene, suspect of victim with the aim of providing information to assist a criminal investigation. Forensic chemists analyse the chemical substances gathered, using a variety of tests and equipment. Some units are self contained, while others involve practical experiments and exercises.
